However, there is a petroleum based substance of some sort on the product that has a strong odor . I used a mild cleaning mixture to wipe it down to see if it would improve the odor. The paper towels came away blackened after several wipe downs. Not sure what it is. Minimal success. It's breathing outside for awhile to see if that will help over time. The product itself is looks well made and sturdy. I will know better of that assessment once it becomes useful.
