Seller Notes: “This is a fine quality pair of antique 19th century Italian beside tables, with a Renaissance ... “This is a fine quality pair of antique 19th century Italian beside tables, with a Renaissance influence, incorporating new glass tops, decorated with fine foliate detail, circa 1870, in excellent condition. Finished with a bleached / lime wash finish. All the drawers and brushing slides work and close flush to the frame. The drawers retain the original lever locks (with key) and drawer knobs. The bedsides have been adapted from a dressing table. There are nominal old use marks to the beech frame, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The foliate carvings are intact and in excellent condition. The glass insets are new; therefore, the glass tops are in excellent condition, with no scratches or chips. The legs retain the original brass ball castor sockets. This pair of Italian beside tables are well constructed, solid in joint and ready to be used.”
