The item is in good condition and still usable even though it got a strong hit on the top causing it a crack that does not compromise the top battery holders. Fortunately, the damage is not that serious and did not affect the switch buttons. All metallic connectors are in good shape without corrosion. After cleaning, a drop of liquid super glue, the set of batteries, and a cover, this vintage Lego box did it well in test at commanding a power function large motor. Thank you tormentum_malorum.
