    This is a highly crafted adapter except for one item that damages Nikon lenses. The friction lock that holds the lens in place is made of bent up hard metal. This can break the mount ears of the lens. A quality adapter used a leaf spring. I am keeping the item and will modify it so it does not damage the lens.

    The adapter is a beautiful piece of equipment. I ran in a lens mount issue. Lenses with light shields that protrude into the mount 11/32nds or greater won't mount. The shield must be trimmed to slightly less then 11/32nds to allow mounting. My 20mm f3.5 and 35mm f2.0 won't mount. These are both pre AI, but this should not be an issue. This is just for your information. A simple fix is to trim the shield. Regards David Wallace
