This was a good value for the money since it was more expensive elsewhere. Installed into a server and both the card and the attached drives became available to the OS. Shows in the OS as the expected card. Inspected the chip under the heatsink and it looked valid. Threw some Honeywell PTM7950 to replace the thermal compound since I took the heatsink off.
