It had been sealed in a plastic bag and the smell was overpowering. The shirt was aired out to no avail. It's on it's 3rd washing, this time with vinegar and baking soda which supposedly removes the smell. It is so powerful that anything it touches in the closet or anything it rests upon stinks of the same smell. It's ok as a shirt. Not exactly the model I thought it was, but other than the smell, was as described.
