I had hoped this would complete a pair to be close to matched, but my two v-blocks - which are both individually excellent - are quite different dimensionally. Great v-blocks, both in excellent condition, are probably 50 years apart. One built manually in the tool room 1950-70, the other in the past five years. Old and new Starrett tools are well made; new technology like CNC yields even better tooling.
