The original case sliding back and forth winding mechanism works flawlessly. The case opening and closing is also nice and tight, along with the overall great condition it shows the timepiece is in excellent shape. However, we do not know its service history so we cannot guarantee timekeeping accuracy or longevity. We strongly recommend to have antique pocket watches fully serviced before putting it to regular use and this will help extend the life of the timepiece as well. The decision and responsibility to service the watch is made solely by the end-user. Cosmetically this Movado Ermeto Purse Watch is in excellent shape with it original engraved woven finish still sharp to the touch. The surface does have some tarnish for which we have not had it wiped off for the sake of keeping it as original as possible. Some gold-tone hour markers have tarnished, the silver dial is very clean. 41mm(w) x 25mm(l)”
