The description of the Hitachi DH 24DVC cordless drill intimated that the drill was in working order, however, two fully charged batteries, specifically for this model of drill were unable to get it to work. The chuck did manage to turn one centimetre but failed to continually rotate. It would appear there is an electrical issue within the drill itself.
I am aware the description was very vague, drill body and case, but no indication it was non operational.
