Oh, boy, did I ever enjoy! I was stationed at North Island (San Diego) in the 50's and noticed my (squadron, VP-40) hangers in construction (my guess, '38-'39 when this was made). Also recognized a bunch of other buildings. Maybe the story and some of the technical details a little off, but the movie quality was superb. Especially enjoyed all the prewar A/C. Don't know how the movie studio got the Navy to contribute so much to this.
