Hello! I understand where you're coming from, but I actually work for the post office, so I've seen the letter processing machines in action. If I had used one of those hard plastic cases people use, it greatly increases the chance it will get caught in the machine. The way I package it drastically reduces the chance it'll get damaged in the machine. Not to mention, this purchase was less than $3 with free shipping, using a hard container would not be cost effective for me. Glad it made it safe!
