There are some chips, splits and cracks in the wood.The dowel rods that go across the back for support are no longer present and a piece of wood was added.This piece of wood is not straight which makes the ladder look crooked.Overall great look and great piece.Please look at pics for better description of condition.I personally would use this ladder as a ladder, although there is a wide range of opinions on whether a ladder is safe, for that reason being sold for decor.Old ladders are old and can't necessarily be held up to the same standards as new ladder.Size 24"H x 18.5"D x 13.5"W. Folded 30.25"H x 13.5" x 6.5"”
