Maybe not the best representation of eBay selling yet this business model is different than mine. I found a 'one off' lot of vintage figures at a good price. So, my item was cancelled, couldn't be found, and I was offered the opportunity to buy at 1/2 price if the item was located. My answer now is "No thank you". So, this too has happened to me as a seller. And when the item (heavy box) was found, I sent it for free.
