This shirt is very small for an XL. The shirt measured 20" from armpit to armpit which is a 40 chest. That is generally a medium. I may give it to my 16 yearold son but it's too small for me. Measurements are always good to make sure the shirt really is as labeled. I was dissapointed in this case although the shirt is labeled XL.
