Because the shaft was too short it did not allow the brake lights to turn off. Very disappointed as the add said it was for a 986 boxster. When I compared it to the original one out of the car it was clear that the plunder shaft was slightly shorter which affected the operation. I would welcome another one to be sent out to me.
