I didn't buy it to use with batteries thats what the plug in photo is for to be able to plug in wall and it doesn't work the jack is all messed up and loose. Description said mint lol it's far from mint the sensor that goes outside has rust and battery acid inside of it as well. Very poor description of the item. I was baited in looks mint to me in the photo it's plugged in no power and look at that mint battery box
