    Thanks for the purchase! I went in-person to the post offices to get them serviced and all were done as a handback - postmarked in-person at the counter and handed back (like all of the Appalachian Trail covers I've posted). For your cover, both postmarks are actually from the same post office - one is the pictorial cancel used specially for the Appalachian Trail stamps and the other was their regular red round dater.
