The o2 sensor is different than the one in my model year as well as there is a port that is not used in the 2011 that is present in this part. A true OEM fit should replace with no modification whatsoever. I am guessing the part was pulled from a different model or year and looked close enough, so it was listed and sold as compatible with 2011 4.0 Rangers.
