Because of this it will not fit naturally into the OEM key socket on the fob. Even with the key cut afterwards its design puts it just a millimeter or two from being able to fully seat. I won't be returning this as it was obviously cut, but even if you remove the key shaft from the part and sand the interfering part, it still won't fit in the OEM Genuine fob.
