I recently bought a NIB Lionel Operating Crossing Gate (vintage 1970-1984). I have always been in awe of Lionel’s operating accessories and while this one may not be the top of the line, it does have continuous animation and illumination. I just bought a brand new Lionel Operating Crossing Gate, a remake of the ones made in the mid 1950s and ‘60s. While there may be more glamorous items on my layout, it does provide continuous action. In regard to the seller, they were certainly tops.
