Made in USA! At the machine shop (L&W Crankshaft Service, Kansas City) in the 60s we used Melling cams and lifters in 90 percent of the engines we built, for street and racing, and 95 percent of those were flat-tappet. I can't remember (I have a great memory) ever knocking a lobe off one of those cams and losing the engine. Some of them guys raced on dirt tracks three times a week, for the season. Graphite grease on lobes, prime pump, all oil had zinc, 10 min/2k break-in, let's go racin'.
