Notes
Action Toolbelt is Long Island's newest sound. Their music is completely original, yet strangely familiar, fitting somewhere in-between Emo, Punk, Power Pop, and Indie Rock. Drawing most of their influences from the roots of what you hear today, Action Toolbelt's sound is best described as "college rock," similar to the likes of Husker Du and Replacements from the late 80's, and early 90's Alternative bands like Superchunk, Archers of Loaf and the Pixies. Instead of trying to break all kinds of new musical ground, they create refreshing sound by revitalizing good indie rock with great production and songwriting that is seriously addicting. Their hooks set themselves deep into your subconscious the first time you hear them.
