It was obvious that the metal had been repainted gold...and it wasn't a great job! The stones are pretty, but a few were missing. There was vertigris on parts too. I am going to try and rehab it some. The bones are there, it just seriously needs some love. I'm not sorry I got it. I got a good price, and it will be pretty again
