My SX-1050 is singing again thanks to the tone control recap kit! One of the transistors in the loudness tone circuit had gone bad on me. The seller is excellent and highly recommended, the instructions he provided were outstanding. Parts are of high quality, and the instructions even had additional tips to help restore your receiver such as how to clean the volume pot without unsoldering the whole shaft. Everything went perfect and I am so happy!!
