Fan was the same model but has small physical differences from the bad unit it was replacing in an security video DVR. I knew I'd have to solder the old cables to the new fan (polarity was reverse on the new fan, PCB stenciling confirmed it), but new fan has slightly larger screw holes, had to stuff zip tie bits in the holes to cinch down existing mount, but did work! Otherwise, sounded fine, worked like the old fan, that I could tell.
