Activity on eBay is required to follow this policy, the eBay User Agreement and all applicable laws, as well as respect the rights of third parties. If it doesn’t, eBay may take action consistent with applicable laws and the eBay User Agreement, and may even be legally required to do so. Such actions may include, as an example only: Removing the listing or other content, issuing a warning, restricting activity or account suspension.

- The Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003 (Republic Act No. 9203) defines “Trafficking in Persons” as referring to the recruitment, transportation, transfer or harboring, or receipt of persons with or without the victim's consent or knowledge, within or across national borders by means of threat or use of force, or other forms of coercion, abduction, fraud, deception, abuse of power or of position, taking advantage of the vulnerability of the persons, or, the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person for the purpose of exploitation which includes the removal or sale of organs.
Why does eBay have this policy?
eBay urges its sellers and buyers to comply with all governmental regulations and laws. Since the sale of humans and human remains is prohibited by law, sellers may not list them on eBay.
