What materials are these tennis shoes made from?
The previously mentioned abrasion-resistant toe and medial forefoot wraps are made from adidas' proprietary Adituff rubber. The sole of the Barricade is made from a similar material, known as Adiwear 6 Outsole, that helps improve traction on hard surfaces. It is also non-marking regardless of the color.
The synthetic leather of the chassis helps make these waterproof tennis shoes a lighter weight. The Barricade uses Adiprene+ for the full length of the shoes, which adds extra padding, support, comfort, and breathability.
