Shoot Some Hoops in Reebok Basketball Shoes for Men
Reebok's history is a rich one that began in 1895. The brand was originally named J.W. Foster and Sons. The company designed athletic footwear and sold the shoes all over the United Kingdom. Athletes in the 1924 Summer Olympic games even sported these shoes. It wasn't until 1958 when Foster's grandsons branched off and created a sister brand, Reebok. It would take almost 20 years for Reebok to come to the United States, but when it did, Reebok became one of the top athletic shoemakers in the country. What features are found on these Reebok basketball shoes?
With so many different Reebok basketball shoe models to choose from, you will find quite a few features that were designed to meet the special needs of basketball players. There are both high- and low-top options. With the soon-to-be released Allen "The Answer" Iverson collection, the Reebok Question, you will find a mid-top shoe. If you're lucky, you may even find one of the now-vintage Reebok Pump models. Most are made with leather uppers and include lace-up closures. Some include Velcro tabs to secure the shoestrings into place, reducing tripping hazards. A few other features available with these Reebok basketball sneakers for men include:
- Hexalite - Provides a hexagonal cushion for a soft base when landing jumps
- EVA Midsole - Offers additional lightweight cushioning
- Abrasion-Resistant Rubber outsole - Offers lasting durability and traction on the court

The majority of these shoes are available in men's sizes 6.5-15, but some models may fall above this range. You can find some in wide widths as well. Most players feel that these Reeboks run true to size, so it is recommended you order your normal one.
