Mickey Mouse has been capturing the hearts of adults and children since 1928. Since the beloved character first appeared on the scene, Disney has licensed Mickey to be used on everything from toys to apparel, including on comic strip sneakers for women.
Which companies make Disney sneakers for women?
Many companies have partnered with Disney to provide vintage Disney women’s shoes.
adidas has made several licensed shoes featuring the noble mouse. One line was the Mouse Superstar shoes. These Superstar model shoes are white with the body of Mickey just below the ankle.
adidas also modified their Stan Smith shoes to feature Mickey. Like the Superstars, these are solid white. However, instead of the body of the mouse, these feature Mickey’s head near the ankle.
Vans also got into the Mickey action when they partnered with Disney to commemorate the 90th-anniversary of Mickey Mouse. This line included 11 different designs featuring different scenes and depictions from 1928 to 2018. The Sk8-Hi model offered a hi-top model featuring a different scene from Plane Crazy , the animated short film that introduced Mickey, on each quarter panel.
ASICS also participated in the 90th-anniversary celebration by creating limited-edition shoes. These used the ASICS Tiger model and featured the original Mickey on a wrap-around design around the heel of the sneaker. Other models ASICS has developed with Disney include Mickey on the toe instead of the ankle or around the heel.

If you are into higher-end brands, Disney has pulled through to provide vintage Disney women's shoes here as well. Brands like Coach and Gucci partnered with Disney to produce a limited production series.
The partnership celebrated Coach’s 75th anniversary with shoes that featured porter leather with Mickey embroidered on the side. They were available in both white and black.
Gucci used their Rhyton line to bring back a little of your childhood. These vintage Disney women's shoes were white with a relaxing Mickey centered above the arch.
