The Jordan Max Aura 3 carries a retro aura about it, thanks to a design that was carefully constructed using Nike's enormous storehouse of shoe concepts and silhouette designs. Black tumbled leather makes up the majority of the upper, while a special wraparound white leather overlay that covers both the heel and the area around the collar completes the look. That white overlay also features a small blue Jumpman logo. On the white tongue, the number 23 — Michael Jordan's jersey number — is written in black. That number also appears on the side of the heel, on the black portion of the sole. The shoe sits on an Air sole unit that helps ensure ample comfort.
