When Jordan surprised the world with news of his retirement on October 6, 1993, the AJ 9 was already in production. The pair features a white or white-black colorway which gives it a subtle, simple look. The tongue and the backside of the upper have the 'RE2PECT' logo and the classic "Jumpman" emblem. To complete the look, these shoes also feature an upper with synthetic leather and textile.
