A pair of Metallic Gold tie-downs, each sporting an embossed Jumpman, decorate the Jordan 12 Retro Vachetta Tan's lacing section on the shoe's left and right sides. The suede upper on these Jordans starts low near the heel, rises high to the opening for the inner sleeve, and then runs past the arch straight down to the toes. At the bottom of each ankle, the outsole's ankle guard carries a tan "23" that sets the theme for the rest of the heel. A long, leather strap starts immediately above MJ's famous jersey letter and ends as a pull tab with a textured Jumpman above the heel's crown. Directly underneath the toes, a herringbone pattern combines with another metallic Jumpman, and an additional "23" insert to seal in the colorway.
