The inspiration for the Jordan 12 OG Taxi sneaker, released on November 1, 1996, was the Japanese rising sun flag. It boasts flowing stitched lines on the leather that is reminiscent of sending out the sun rays. These shoes feature a leather upper in black and white while the top eyelets are in gold. Additional touches of gold appear on the carbon fiber midsole plate and the heel tab, which features the Jumpman logo. Michael Jordan's signature '23' can also be found on the back heel. These Jordan 12 OG Taxi sneakers have black pebbled leather mudguards that further enhance the design.
