Lens hood is fine other than feels a little rough along bottom of rim that attaches to camera. I don't believe this would affect function. Both have some scuffs, scratches, and light paint loss. Adapter has very slight bend to one of slotted areas that attach to camera lens and also has some soiling. CASE: Mostly clean. NO odors. Only minimal surface damage to leatherette covering (on back above screws (see pic #9). The word "Sheaffer" (on red material inside of case) has some rubs to the gold coloring. The rumpled area you see below and to left of that word is that way, because there are 2 slits that appear to be for the use of storing filters. Finally, the silver bar at back of case has some loss to coating (including a little rust).”
