How It Works

Pain is caused by the stimulation of pain receptors at the ends of the nerves. The stimulation causes sodium to enter the nerve ending, which causes an electrical signal to build up in the nerve. When this electrical signal is big enough, it passes along the nerve to the brain, where the signal is interpreted as pain. SPEED-NUMB works by temporarily blocking this pathway of pain signals along nerves. SPEED-NUMB numbing anaesthetic cream does this by stopping the sodium entering the nerve ending at the site of the pain. This prevents an electrical signal building up and passing along the nerve fibres to the brain. Choose SPEED-NUMB as the perfect solution to relieve the pain during your tattoo.

 SPEEDNUMB has been specifically designed for the numbing of an area for Tattooing. However, this numbing agent can also be used for:

• Application Directions
  
  To be applied at least 45 minutes before procedure
  
  1. Purchase a tube o
  
  2. Wash the area to be tattooed with soap and water. Dry area completely.
  
  3. Apply a layer of numbing cream to the area and rub in.
  
  4. Now, add an additional thick layer of cream over the area.
  
  5. Cover the cream with saran wrap or cling film and seal with sticky tape.
  
  The heat under the plastic wrap helps activate the cream and keeps the cream from drying off.
  
  6. Leave the plastic wrap on until it is removed by the professional before your tattoo.
  
  Tips
  
  I use this cream myself and have found that the recommended time of 45 minutes is not long enough and keep it on for at least 60 – 90 minutes to achieve deep anaesthesia for a maximum of 2 hours.
  
  Leave the cream on the skin longer for better results.

 Do not remove the saran wrap (cling film) until you feel the numbing effect.
