The front and rear covers are clean. The front cover has a slight crease running down the middle of the magazine. The staples are nice and clean. All inside pages are clean, bright and crisp. Some center pages used low grade paper which had a high acid content, turning the paper yellow. This is normal. As the war went on, high quality paper stocks ran out and most everything was printed on this lower grade paper. This is a Very Nice Collectable Wartime Leatherneck. See the contents page photograph for a list of topics discussed in this August 1943 Leatherneck. ”
