Born in Sancerre, “Val de Loire”, France in 1959, Beatrice was encouraged to paint from an early age by her artist mother, Helen Clement. Beatrice studied for three years at the Sorbonne in Paris, Beatrice decided to pursue her passion as an artist. She developed her own naturalistic style based on form and images collected on her extensive travels throughout Europe.
In 1980, she to Lisbon, Portugal and began series of studies with horses and movement, which influenced her current impressionistic style in watercolor. Since 1985 Beatrice has been exhibiting in galleries in Paris, San Francisco, Tokyo and a number of galleries throughout the United States and Europe.
