How do I activate my new Techni Ice reusable ice pack sheets?
You'll only need to activate your new Techni Ice once before initial use. Once activated, they are ready to be used as a cold/hot pack whenever, wherever you like!
Tecni Ice reusable dry ice packs / gel packs start as a flat sheet and absorbs water through a special perforation technology in the surface of the product.This is achieved by scrunching the sheets between your hands whilst immersed in warm water for a few minutes until the air bubbles have escaped.The hydration process will now begin and the cells will swell ready for the products to be used both cold or hot.
The water enters through the surface and activates the non toxic refrigerant polymer, which then swells the sheet into 12 individually sealed cells Which enables the product to be flexible when frozen and cut to size.
Techni Ice reusable gel packs can be used hot, cold or frozen can not only keep your food and drinks icy cold for days on end in the cooler but is also very effective at reducing battery consumption when placed in 12 volt fridge/freezers due to its eutectic qualities, which minimise thermostat activity.
How do I use Techni Ice as a hot, cold, frozen pack?
TO FREEZE- Place Techni Ice in the freezer for 4-12 hours for best results. Freezer can be set at the lowest possible temperature during the freezing process for even greater performance.
TO CHILL - Place Techni Ice in the chiller compartment of your refrigerator. Chilled pack can be used to soothe fever and swelling. Refreshingly cool!
TO HEAT: Place hydrated sheet in the microwave for 1-2minutes or wrapped in a towel in hot water. Use a towel between your body and Techni Ice for soothing relief.

What is the difference between TECHNI Ice and other similar cooler sheets in the market?
Single layer cooler sheet are NOT made to be REUSED. Take caution that the nature of its cover will absorb odor (of your fridge, and/or of the food items you carry) and is more likely to become breeding grounds for bacteria. The single layer ice sheet with only a layer of non-woven cover are best use for one time transportation of heat-sensitive items such as frozen or chilled shipments. If you are using them for transportation of your expressed breastmilk (EBM), do not reuse them for hygienic concerns.
