These German vintage wooden toy soldiers were manufactured by a German company named Specling. The Specling flat wood soldiers in this lot do show evidence of paint loss due to age and play wear. Seven of the vintage flat wood soldiers in this lot are mounted on horses. There are 19 antique wooden toy soldiers on foot (6 of which have broken guns at the tip). All of these German antique wooden toys made by Specling are hand painted. The uniforms on these 26 German vintage wooden toys are painted army green. All the horses are hand painted brown. The painted detailing to the horses and soldiers in this vintage wood toys lot is so uniquely done. Just give the command and this lot of 26 antique German flat wood soldiers will march directly into your collection.”
